Customised funky shoes

Have finally got round to customising my funky pair of Irregular Choice (model "Mutiny", presumably because it's showing the union jack in non-standard colours surrounded by tiny flowers). The shoes are a little too big so I've not been able to wear them. Last night, I spent the length of the World Cup football match and a Jimi Hendrix documentary sewing a Mary Jane-style bridge out of some leftover green woven bag strap and some stick-on velcro. Works! Woo hoo!
