Bank Holiday gardening

Some of the wood left by our plot neighbour and his mate.

Our frontage right now, a riot of spring colours! In the garden out the back, I've also been busy and have weeded, planted out loads of Asiatic lilies and sweet williams, a lupin and a spare fuchsia and have started to edge the bed on the left so that it looks a bit tidier. Photos to follow when I'm done.

OH has started a little greenhouse in our patio-facing extension. All the sweetcorn is on here, plus the jalapeno peppers plus the squashes and pumpkins. The Poolhouse greenhouse down the garden is also full of plants but is struggling a bit with greenfly and botrytis mould that's getting to the tender seedlings. Currently keeping there, or bringing on: 11 aubergines, 2 patty pan squash plants, tomato seedlings, courgettes, various collected seeds: lobelia, salvia, mallows, calendulas, anchusas, hollyhocks, Livingstone daisies, and I also found a bag of anemone corms down the back of the cupboard. I thought they were unusable but they're sprouting alright!
