We
start planting out our first seedlings, despite knowing that there is still
the threat of late frosts. We do feel a little group pressure –
Portuguese matey next door is well out of the blocks with his
tomatoes and beans and cabbages. We've got nothing apart from seed
in the ground, and the fruit bushes, which is a bit pants. So three
pumpkin plants, which have well and truly outgrown our little greenhouse and their containers, go into the ground, without a fleece covering. Frost
protection is for pussies.
