Things finally getting going!

Discovered a big bucket of Cuprinol Brown behind the nettle patch in our back garden. Had no idea we had such riches! Took another cart to the lottie and painted the other sides of the shed, in brown. OH sorted out the door and attached a string handle. Then weeded one third of the strawberry bed & rejuvenated congested crowns. Planted dozens of strawbs in former potato bed, next to the accidental salads. OH digging this year's onion bed, for hours.

Coffee break! New whistle kettle from QD tried out for the first time, on the camping stove. Works very well.

Sadly, we've run out of instant and I'd stretched what instant espresso there was left with milk powder. So now we're drinking probably the worst cup of coffee in the county. But because the weather is so great and we feel so proud of ourselves for getting so much done, it still tastes like ambrosia.

Before we go home, I tear up the old shed felt and bag up but cart so full that we have to leave them.
