My sewing is coming along in leaps and bounds. Last week we were taught how to make piping (sewing a band of fabric around a piece of string or cord and sewing that around so it becomes a tidy edge). I used up some punk-neon green tartan fabric and some leftover green bias binding and set to work and once I got the hang of it, and got my sewing machine to work again, I ended up with this! The colours are much brighter in reality. Very pleased with myself.
