Random pics from our garden

Alfresco waffles in our little mediterranean corner on a Sunday afternoon in May.

Coming home one night with our harvest.

OH's side near the Holzleg, next to the pond.

My flowers this year -- my pride and joy!

Self-seeded calendula plus my planted-up old handcart with leftover strawberry plants, parsley, chives, rucola.

My circus-tent petunias this year, doing well in the front window basket.

Cosmos in the butler's sink now doing very well there and being fabulous to the eye every morning.

Our fat figs.

First breakfast outside 4May15

The wild triangle - full of digitalis and delphiniums and feverfew, under the birch.

Ceanothus and my Gertrude Jekyll rose.

This rose is such a lovely surprise. I fed it really well this year -- it must be over ten years old at least -- and look what it's doing...

My rose garden -- with a hollyhock (Stockrose) this year. In the foreground the orange Supertroupers (I call them the stormtroopers, which is a little unfair on them), and in the background my Heathcliffs. There's also a yellow tall rose in the back there somewhere, and I've forgotten its name. It'll be on a label in a shoebox somewhere.
