Today I tried
candle-making. On the web I found a way of making two-tone candles: you prepare two containers of differently coloured wax, half-fill a small tetrapak with one colour and lay it on a tilt (in a box, for example). Let it cool and harden for a bit, then add the other colour on top (not forgetting the wick).
My favourite colour combination is red and black so this is what I
managed in my first attempt:
The wick, it turns out, is far too thick so the candle doesn't so much burn as throw flames. Learnt something again here!
