Every year I'm making something from scrap. Last year it was my kick-ass shoe rack, still standing. This year, it's a bathroom shelf. We've got the metal supports but the original shelves are too long. So I had to make my own. Sawed and sanded off a few more of my old fence panels from last year and oiled them in my freshly tidied Woman Cave. New bathroom shelf now standing although not yet screwed to the wall so one prod could make it flap apart and collapse. Three weeks on and I've still not managed to drill the holes into the walls or finish off the shelfboards so that they hook into the supports. But it looks funky. As long as you don't touch it.
