My pansy people. I shouldn't anthropomorphise but they do remind me of yappy little yellow dogs guarding the window. In amongst them, a strawberry plant with lots of flowers.
My radishes are sprouting! Sown last week.
Lungwort in flower, with bumblebee feeding.
Our house front looking very floral and happy: clematis plus more pansies and the ancient spirea. That spirea has taken so much abuse and it keeps coming back year after year. I'll probably bury it with full honours when it finally goes.
Our pear tree -- lots of fruit, hopefully.
Our russet apple tree, same. Good harvest if all goes well.
Strawberry window basket -- looks like it's going to crop as heavily as last year. The neighbours have all owned up to nicking the odd one when we weren't looking.
The self-seeded thyme between the cracks on the patio. I can't trust it though because Mr Tubby wees on everything in that area. It's the local cats' flight path and Mr Tubby, still believing it's his territory to mark, is telling other cats which way to fly. The bees are loving it but that thyme isn't going to come anywhere near my food.
