Chives, were ailing in an overgrown weedy bed, now rescued and doing well.

Lettuce seedling, soon to be planted on. Its friends are already under netting on the allotment and are doing very well.
Tons of perpetual spinach seedlings. This has also self-seeded on the allotment and there's only so much spinach quiche, spinach ravioli or spinach tortellini that you can eat so we'll probably grow some on as mini salad veg.
Red cabbage, as you can see, over a month old and still quite "behind". But they're getting there and look healthy!
Runner beans -- we're not as successful with legumes as we'd like to be.
This Kelvedon Early pea seedling is the only one that sprouted. Have planted some more peas now -- see what happens.
Waaah! Slug damage on my courgette! But we've got tons of courgette plants and will only need about two to keep us in courgettes forever.
Oh, yummy. Sprouting broccoli well on. I love broccoli....
My tomato seedlings. It's past mid-May and that's their size. They're on, but very far behind, even under plastic. Tells you just how cold it's been.
