It's chucking it down today, which is just as well. Cough is at the anything-triggers-it stage, very intrusive and tiring.
From a water management point of view though, rain now is excellent -- most of the allotment reservoirs were empty and the soil really needed more moisture at this stage. The flea beetles don't like rain either so that's even better. OH is also looking forward to prepping four more beds that I've dug over -- hopefully the weather will allow that on Monday or Tuesday.
Closer to the house, our supplies have now been replenished from the roof collection system and a little bucketing to and from means that every water butt is now full again, or getting there.
