News on the broken genny

OH rang Lidl the other day to ask what to do about the genny. We think/hope the fault is a one-off -- no-one else on the wide internet plains of caravan, motorhome and narrowboat owners has reported the same fault and practically everyone was full of praise for it -- so we're thinking of trying to get it repaired. After a bit of a time-wasting palaver over identification numbers on hard-to-find scraps of paper that came with the thing and that usually get stuffed in one of our many drawers, Lidl promised to send an engineer round. Not heard from him or her yet though. Good that the three-foot tall grass and nettles and thistles that we strimmed last weekend is still cowed and sulking and has not come back yet. And it's been raining hard so we've not had to run down our water reserves on the plot.

Strimmed into submission a week after the deed. This was all overgrown for almost a year.
